Guru Parampara · गुरुपरम्परा · The musical lineage
Guided by tradition. United by music.
In Carnatic Sangeetham the lineage is the credential. Who taught the Guru, and who taught them, is not trivia — it is what determines the phrasing a student inherits.

With over two decades of experience, they have served renowned cultural institutions, authored books on Carnatic music, and received numerous State and National honours.

How we teach
The Guru–Shishya Parampara
Carnatic Sangeetham is transmitted, not delivered. It passes from teacher to student by ear and by repetition — a phrase sung, a phrase returned, corrected, returned again. Almost nothing about that process has needed to change, and we have not changed it.
A tradition of excellence
Our Gurus were trained under eminent maestros and hold their students to the standards of that tradition — in śruti, in laya, and in the discipline of daily practice.
Experience and expertise
Over two decades of teaching and performance across the Carnatic repertoire, from a beginner’s first Sarali Swaras through to Manodharma Sangeetham.
Personalised guidance
Every voice is different in range, in timbre and in the speed at which it settles. Students are thoughtfully guided to the Guru best suited to their learning journey.
Recognition and honours
Our Gurus have received numerous State and National honours. Each is published here with its awarding body and year as it is confirmed in full.
We would rather name nothing than name something imprecisely. In a tradition where credentials are the credential, a vague honour is worth less than none at all.
