It's quite common to find sand or minor dirt stains on Sungudi cotton at the time of purchase. . These are not at all damage or quality issues.
Here's why:

Sungudi fabric is dyed and dried outdoors, traditionally spread out on riverbanks or sandy ground after the tie-and-dye process. This natural method can leave behind dried grass bits, sand grains, or mud specks

What to do after buying
